Cesar Johnston

Chairman, President & CEO

Cesar Johnston is a veteran of the technology and wireless technology industries with over three decades of leadership experience. He most recently served as CEO and President of Energous Corporation, a public company pioneering wireless power transfer technologies. Prior to that, he held executive positions at Marvell and Broadcom, where he led engineering teams responsible for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC products. He has deep expertise in silicon development and IoT markets. Cesar holds more than 50 U.S. and international patents, is a Senior Member of IEEE, and serves on the CTO Council for the Global Technology Alliance. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from NYU Tandon and completed executive business training at UC Berkeley.

George Jones

Chief Operating Officer

George Jones brings over 30 years of experience in technology operations, M&A, and strategic development. As Managing Director at Woodside Capital, he leads the technology practice advising both private and public tech companies on capital raises and M&A. He previously served as Chief Business Officer at Matrix Industries, and held senior roles at companies including Applied Micro Circuits, RMI (now Broadcom), and VLSI (now NXP). George is also a mentor with Silicon Catalyst and 500 Global, and serves on the boards of two startups: PharmaSecure and SkillMi. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from The Wharton School. He is a founding member of Sand Hill Angels.
